CHARLOTTE, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) \u2014\u00a0NASCAR\u00a0cup driver\u00a0William\u00a0Byron was in\u00a0south\u00a0Charlotte\u00a0Monday\u00a0for his\u00a0sixth\u00a0annual charity golf tournament.<\/p>\n

The tournament at Providence Country Club helps support fundraising efforts for the more than\u00a01,000\u00a0youth in the\u00a0Big\u00a0Brothers\u00a0Big\u00a0Sisters of\u00a0Central\u00a0Carolinas and the\u00a0William\u00a0Byron\u00a0Foundation.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt means more to the\u00a0people\u00a0who have put it all together,\u201d Bryon said.\u00a0\u201cThey really have put in a lot of effort to make this happen and\u00a0support the\u00a0community. \u2026\u00a0It\u2019s\u00a0something that\u00a0I\u00a0was a part of when\u00a0I\u00a0was\u00a0young\u00a0and\u00a0it\u2019s\u00a0something\u00a0that\u2019s\u00a0important\u00a0to the community.\u201d<\/p>\n
