A fight between Teremoana and Huni \u2013 who Hearn also promotes \u2013 would be huge for Australian boxing, especially after the latter seemed headed for a huge win over now WBO heavyweight king, Fabio Wardley last June.<\/p>\n
And Hearn insists it can happen in 2026.<\/p>\n
\u201cRight now, Teremoana is coming up through the heavyweight division like a train,\u201d the promoter said.<\/p>\n
\u201cAnd then you\u2019ve got Justis Huni, who won nearly every round against Fabio Wardley; the same guy who is now world heavyweight champion.<\/p>\n
\u201cBut I\u2019ve never really met a situation where someone like Huni would be looking for a Teremoana fight right now.<\/p>\n
\u201cBut in six months? In 12 months? That\u2019s a natural fight \u2026\u201d<\/p>\n
Hearn stressed however that timing would also have to make sense for Huni.<\/p>\n
\u201cBecause he\u2019s coming off a good win this month [against Frazer Clarke] and trying to position himself for a world title,\u201d the promoter continued. \u201cSo Justis could feature on one of our pay-per-view cards, with Teremoana as a chief support.\u201d<\/p>\n

And as for who Huni fights?<\/p>\n
One potential rival includes \u2018Big Baby\u2019 Miller, who Hearn was ringside for only last weekend in Las Vegas when he beat Cuban Lenier Pero.<\/p>\n
The win represents the latest chapter in a crazy career for the American that includes not only cruelling an Anthony Joshua fight, but losing his hairpiece while fighting in January.<\/p>\n
While Miller is now talking up the idea of a Joshua fight again, Hearn stressed an Aussie headliner was possible for the slugger who also won a Madison Square Garden bout against Kingsley Ibeh in January \u2013 and after effectively having his hairpiece punched off.<\/p>\n
The UK promoter also has interest in pitching Huni into what would be a massive Trans Tasman showdown against Parker, and potentially on a card where the nation\u2019s new KO King Teremoana Jnr fights for the Australian heavyweight title. <\/p>\n
\u201cFor Huni to headline pay-per-view here we need to the right dance partner,\u201d Hearn continued.<\/p>\n
\u201cA guy like Jarrell Miller, he\u2019s a huge man who has got all the talk. I\u2019d love to bring a big loudmouth American down here.<\/p>\n
\u201cI\u2019d also put Joseph Parker in the mix, given he is a big name in the region.<\/p>\n
\u201cThat\u2019s a fight that would get people excited.\u201d<\/p>\n
Speaking earlier this month, Teremoana told Fox Sports Australia he would be ready to fight for a world title within little more than a year \u2013 and Hearn agrees. <\/p>\n
Asked to compare his newest Matchroom slugger with Huni, Hearn enthused: \u201cTeremoana comes with something a little different – concussive heavyweight power.<\/p>\n
\u201cHe\u2019s 6\u20197\u2019\u2019, 125 kilos.<\/p>\n
\u201cAbsolute monster of a man with great attributes, a real boxing IQ and Olympic pedigree.<\/p>\n
\u201cBy the end of next year, he\u2019ll be around 17-0.<\/p>\n
\u201cAbout the only thing lacking is rounds.<\/p>\n
\u201cThey\u2019re so hard for him to get because he hits so hard.<\/p>\n
\u201cAnd he\u2019s probably not getting many rounds in Wednesday either.\u201d<\/p>\n

As already revealed by Fox Sports Australia last week, if Tim Tszyu wins his impending showdown against Errol Spence Jnr, Matchroom Boxing would be interested in co-promoting a huge world title showdown against England\u2019s Josh Kelly.<\/p>\n
However Hearn has since stressed Nikita Tszyu is also in the picture for a world title showdown for IBF champ Kelly \u2013 where he is currently ranked sixth \u2013 or even a huge bout against \u2018Boots\u2019 Ennis.<\/p>\n
While Kelly only recently claimed the IBF super welterweight title, Ennis is readying to challenge Puerto Rico\u2019s Xander Zayas for the WBO and WBA titles in June.<\/p>\n
\u201cI really like Nikita Tszyu, think he\u2019s an exciting fighter,\u201d Hearn said of the unbeaten Sydneysider set to face exciting, young Spaniard Oscar Diaz on Wednesday week in Newcastle.<\/p>\n
\u201cAnd he\u2019s going to be putting himself into a position very soon to be challenging for a world title.<\/p>\n
\u201cAnd maybe that\u2019s Josh Kelly.<\/p>\n
\u201cBut don\u2019t forget also that we\u2019ve got Jaron Ennis, who I think is among the greatest pound for pound fighters in the sport.<\/p>\n
