{"id":634051,"date":"2026-04-28T12:00:08","date_gmt":"2026-04-28T12:00:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/634051\/"},"modified":"2026-04-28T12:00:08","modified_gmt":"2026-04-28T12:00:08","slug":"shots-fired-at-residence-in-ahuntsic","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/634051\/","title":{"rendered":"Shots fired at residence in Ahuntsic"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Montreal police (SPVM) are investigating after gunshots were fired at a residence overnight in the Ahuntsic-Cartierville borough.<\/p>\n<p>According to the SPVM, multiple 911 calls were received around 3:40 a.m. Monday reporting gunfire on Bois-de-Boulogne Ave., near Henri-Bourassa Blvd. West.<\/p>\n<p>When officers arrived at the scene, they discovered bullet impacts on a residential building as well as a parked vehicle. Authorities also recovered several shell casings from the roadway.<\/p>\n<p>A security perimeter was quickly established to allow investigators and forensic identification technicians to examine the scene and determine the circumstances surrounding the shooting.<\/p>\n<p>The SPVM\u2019s canine unit was deployed to assist in the search for additional evidence.<\/p>\n<p>Police confirmed that no one inside the residence was injured.
