Architects Ben Addy<\/a> and Dominique Petit-Fr\u00e8re<\/a>, alongside designers James Melia<\/a> and Nada Debs<\/a>, have joined the judging panel for Dezeen Awards 2026<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Dezeen Awards, in partnership with Trimble<\/a>, is searching for the world’s best architecture, interiors and design. Submit your projects<\/a> by May 27 to avoid late entry fees.<\/p>\n

Now in its ninth year, the programme has become the ultimate benchmark for architects and designers everywhere, with winners selected by a prestigious panel of international judges.<\/p>\n

\"\"Ben Addy, founder of Moxon Architects, will judge Dezeen Awards 2026<\/p>\n

Architect and founder of Scottish practice Moxon Architects<\/a>, Addy will judge this year’s architecture entries.<\/p>\n

Moxon Architects work on varied scales of projects across architecture, craft and engineering, with clients ranging from Hauser & Wirth<\/a> to HS2<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Addy’s work often takes interest in how landscape, heritage and circularity can inform design, which is reflected in recent projects such as a hillside home that revives residential ruin<\/a> and a farmstead-inspired extension that meets Passivhaus standards<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\"\"Dominique Petit-Fr\u00e8re is the founder of Limbo Museum<\/p>\n

Architect and founder of Limbo Museum in Accra, Ghana<\/a>, Petit-Fr\u00e8re will join the architecture jury for Dezeen Awards 2026.<\/p>\n

The architect established Limbo Museum to serve as an experimental contemporary arts institution dedicated to exploring alternative models for cultural institutions in Africa<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Petit-Fr\u00e8re previously co-founded Limbo Accra<\/a>, an architectural and research practice creating site-specific spatial design activations, including a sculpture garden in the grounds of an abandoned Cayman Islands hotel<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Speaking at a Dezeen talk<\/a> in 2025, the architect discussed the importance of incomplete buildings in her work<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Also joining this year’s jury is London<\/a>-based designer Melia, founder of design consultancy Blond<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The studio approaches design with an aim to bridge the gap between emerging technologies and the physical world through a commitment to meaningful, human-centric design.<\/p>\n

Recent projects include a range of flower-shaped aluminium packaging for skincare brand Daisyface<\/a>, an exhibition exploring artificial intelligence<\/a> at Milan design week<\/a> 2025 and a refillable deodorant case made from recycled plastic<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\"\"Designer Nada Debs is one of this year’s judges<\/p>\n

Founder of her eponymous studio, Beirut<\/a>-based designer Debs will join Melia on this year’s design jury.<\/p>\n

Raised in Japan<\/a>, educated in the United States<\/a> and now based in Beirut, Debs’ work is informed by connections between different cultures.<\/p>\n

Her studio works across a range of design projects from product and furniture design to one-off commissions across craft, art, fashion and interiors. Recent projects include an immersive hammam installation made from reclaimed materials<\/a> and a contemporary reinterpretation of the traditional Uzbek tapchan<\/a>.<\/p>\n
