A 49-year-old man is dead and two other men are in hospital after an assault at a North End Winnipeg housing complex, police say.<\/p>\n

Officers were called to the complex on Stella Walk shortly before 3:20 a.m. Monday.<\/p>\n

Two injured men, aged 23 and 27, were found outside, while the 49-year-old was located inside a nearby suite, according to a Winnipeg police news release on Tuesday.<\/p>\n

The men outside were rushed to hospital in unstable condition and later upgraded to stable. The man in the suite was in critical condition and pronounced dead at the hospital.<\/p>\n

The man who died has been identified as Robson Isaac Sinclair, a member of Fisher River Cree Nation who had been living in Winnipeg.<\/p>\n
