The WNBA will celebrate its 30th anniversary with a record 216 regular\u2011season games and events available across a wide range of broadcast and streaming platforms. The expanded slate reflects the league\u2019s rapid growth, rising star power, and increased demand from national media partners.<\/p>\n

Games will appear on ABC\/ESPN, CBS, Amazon Prime Video, ION, NBC, USA Sports and NBA TV, giving fans more ways than ever to follow the league throughout the year. Commissioner Cathy Engelbert told the media that the WNBA is building on a \u201clandmark season\u201d and entering 2026 with momentum fueled by a strong draft class, major free\u2011agency movement and a deeper roster of broadcast partners.<\/p>\n

ESPN and ABC Highlight the Anniversary Season<\/p>\n

As part of the league\u2019s milestone year, ESPN and ABC <\/a>will air 30 national broadcasts, including 13 games on ABC. The network\u2019s opening weekend doubleheader will feature two of the sport\u2019s biggest names: Caitlin Clark and Indiana facing Paige Bueckers and Dallas, followed by a rematch of the WNBA Finals with Las Vegas hosting Phoenix.<\/p>\n

The All\u2011Star Game will also air on ABC, continuing the network\u2019s long\u2011standing role as a primary national partner for the league.<\/p>\n

CBS Expands Primetime Coverage<\/p>\n

CBS and Paramount+<\/a> will significantly increase its WNBA presence with eight primetime games, up from just two last season. The network\u2019s expanded commitment reflects the league\u2019s rising ratings and the growing national interest in women\u2019s basketball.<\/p>\n

ION, Amazon and NBC Add Depth to the Schedule<\/p>\n

ION<\/a> will continue its popular Friday night doubleheaders, broadcasting more than 50 games. Amazon Prime Video<\/a> will stream 31 games, including the Commissioner\u2019s Cup championship on June 30.<\/p>\n

The WNBA will also return to NBC,<\/a> which will air seven Sunday games and 12 additional matchups on Peacock. NBC and USA Network will share coverage of the WNBA Finals, with Peacock streaming every game of the championship series.<\/p>\n

USA Network and NBA TV Round Out National Coverage<\/p>\n

USA Network<\/a> will carry 48 games on Monday and Wednesday nights, while NBA TV will feature 15 nationally televised matchups, giving fans consistent access throughout the season.<\/p>\n
