The postman delivered the good news to households in the village of Adare in recent days.<\/p>\n
The letter from Ryder Cup Europe acknowledges the community as a central partner in delivering the event as host village.<\/p>\n
It says the organisers’ ambition is that Adare will reap economic benefits from the Ryder Cup, and that the community will have memorable experiences.<\/p>\n
It also acknowledges that the construction phase and event delivery will have an impact on daily life in the village, which it says organisers will work to minimise.<\/p>\n
Ryder Cup Europe says it sincerely appreciates the ongoing cooperation and support of residents, businesses and community groups in Adare.<\/p>\n
The letter states: “As a gesture of this appreciation we would like to offer you two complimentary tickets for the 2027 Ryder Cup, which can be redeemed for any of the days, Tuesday to Sunday”.<\/p>\n
“We have ringfenced a certain number of tickets per day for residents which will be allocated on a first come first served basis.”<\/p>\n
The letter is signed by Richard Atkinson, who is the chief Ryder Cup officer with Ryder Cup Europe.<\/p>\n
