An update has emerged regarding a WWE star potentially turning heel during tonight\u2019s August 11 episode of Raw.<\/p>\n
Last week, there was something of a subtle hint that there could be issues brewing between former Damage CTRL teammates Asuka and IYO SKY.<\/p>\n
SKY was chatting with the Kabuki Warriors \u2013 Asuka and Kairi Sane \u2013 when Rhea Ripley<\/a> walked in and asked to speak to SKY.<\/p>\n Asuka\u2019s response to that was to tell SKY, \u201cIYO, you talk to your friend.\u201d<\/p>\n This week, after SKY\u2019s match against Naomi was canceled due to Naomi not being medically cleared per WWE, SKY set up a match against Roxanne Perez instead.<\/p>\n With Perez set to have Raquel Rodriguez accompany her at ringside, Asuka suggested the Kabuki Warriors should be in SKY\u2019s corner to make sure everything was fair.<\/p>\n However, SKY politely declined the offer and left the Kabuki Warriors backstage.<\/p>\n During the match itself, when Rodriguez did attempt to get involved, the Kabuki Warriors came out and tried to help SKY, but instead, ended up being more of a hindrance as SKY had to stop herself in her tracks when she was about to accidentally knock them off the apron.<\/p>\n The hesitation ultimately cost SKY the match as Perez rolled her up from behind and pinned her.<\/p>\n Backstage afterwards, SKY and Asuka were arguing as SKY pointed out she told them to stay behind the scenes and they ignored her request.<\/p>\n The argument ended with Asuka physically shoving SKY and storming off, with Sane just standing by and looking conflicted, seemingly not really taking a side at this point.<\/p>\n Whichever side Sane ends up being on, it appears Asuka<\/a> may be on the verge of a heel turn to set up a match\/feud against SKY.<\/p>\n Kairi Sane is left conflicted after Asuka shoves IYO SKYpic.twitter.com\/36Gqd18vac<\/a><\/p>\n \u2014 WrestleTalk (@WrestleTalk_TV) August 12, 2025<\/a><\/p>\n To make sure you stay up to date with all the biggest wrestling and WrestleTalk news, follow us on Threads by clicking this link<\/a>!<\/p>\n![\"\"](\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/08\/wrestling-masterclass-9-stars.jpg\")
