INDIANAPOLIS \u2013 In the latest publication of the NCAA Regional rankings, the UIndy women’s tennis team was tabbed the No. 8 team in the Midwest, per a release Wednesday.\u00a0<\/p>\n
The Hounds moved up one spot from last week’s batch after a 7-0 win against McKendree last Saturday. UIndy currently maintains a record of 9-8 against DII opponents, with an 8-3 mark against in-region competition.\u00a0<\/p>\n
The Greyhounds also own the seventh strongest regional win-loss percentage, while owning a\u00a0 top-50 ranked win against Tiffin.\u00a0<\/p>\n
UIndy is one of three GLVC teams in the second batch of numerical rankings, joining UMSL and Rockhurst.\u00a0<\/p>\n
