Five men have been charged after police recovered a stolen trailer containing cannabis products worth more than $2 million in Mississauga earlier this month.<\/p>\n

York Regional Police (YRP) said<\/a> the trailer was stolen from Niagara Region and was intended for delivery to numerous dispensaries.<\/p>\n

Officers were in the area of McLaughlin Road and Highway 401 on April 15 when they discovered the stolen trailer, YRP said.<\/p>\n

Shortly after, officers observed several males linked to the stolen trailer and arrested them. YRP said two firearms were located when officers searched the men.<\/p>\n

In a news release on Wednesday, the suspects were identified as 21-year-old Manveer Singh, 32-year-old Sarbjeet Singh, 21-year-old Dilkhab Singh, 25-year-old Karan Kumar and 23-year-old Jaiskavan Malhi. <\/p>\n

All suspects except Kumar are from Brampton, police said. The 25-year-old is from Hamilton.<\/p>\n

They are facing a combined 33 theft and firearm-related charges.<\/p>\n
