Heading into Bayern Munich\u2019s 5-4 loss to Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League, star midfielder Joshua Kimmich knew the game was going to be a whirlwind, but even he did not envision what was about to occur.<\/p>\n
\u201cI think it was to be expected that it would be end-to-end, but I didn\u2019t expect it to be so open. It feels strange after the match because we lost \u2013 by one goal. We were three goals down at one point, came back and had the feeling we actually should\u2019ve equalized. Particularly at the end, Paris looked tired, they had cramps and were playing for time. We certainly felt we had a chance,\u201d said Kimmich (as captured by FCBayern.com<\/a>). \u201cI honestly thought we were very good at the start, the first 15, 20 minutes. We needed to score the second goal. Then we allow Paris into the game through a mistake in build-up, and after that they got better.<\/p>\n \u201cIt\u2019s very annoying that we conceded from a set piece again \u2013 we mustn\u2019t allow that. However, we certainly showed a very good reaction. Okay, they had another counter and hit the bar, but overall you have the feeling there\u2019s more to come.\u201d<\/p>\n Kimmich and his mates will have to find away to at least slow down PSG\u2019s attack. Needing to go up two goals at home is not impossible, but it will not be a walk in the park either.
