\u00a0\u201cAs\u00a0Jessica\u2019s\u00a0current contract expires, she has expressed her desire to explore other coaching roles across the\u00a0League\u00a0and\u00a0we support her in\u00a0this\u00a0process,\u201d\u00a0said\u00a0EVP and General Manager Jason Botterill.\u00a0\u201cJessica\u00a0has\u00a0been an important member of our coaching staff for the past four years,\u00a0demonstrating\u00a0deep\u00a0knowledge, and a unique ability to connect with and develop\u00a0players.\u00a0We\u00a0respect her\u00a0decision and\u00a0believe strongly in her as a coach in this league.\u201d\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n
Campbell joined the Kraken as an assistant coach in July 2024, becoming the first full-time female assistant coach in NHL history to work behind the bench during the regular season.
