There will be a closure of the emergency department in Thessalon this week due to physician shortages.<\/p>\n
The North Shore Health Network says the emergency room will shut down at 8 a.m. on Friday. It\u2019s not scheduled to reopen until 8 a.m. on Saturday.<\/p>\n
Anyone requiring immediate medical attention should still call 9-1-1. Ambulances will be re-routed.<\/p>\n
