{"id":639728,"date":"2026-05-01T00:51:09","date_gmt":"2026-05-01T00:51:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/639728\/"},"modified":"2026-05-01T00:51:09","modified_gmt":"2026-05-01T00:51:09","slug":"mustafas-brothers-murder-2nd-suspect-arrested","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/639728\/","title":{"rendered":"Mustafa&#8217;s brother&#8217;s murder: 2nd suspect arrested"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"c-paragraph\">Another suspect has been arrested in the 2023 shooting death of a 36-year-old man, who was the brother of an internationally recognized Toronto poet and musician.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">Toronto police announced the arrest in an update on Thursday.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ctvnews.ca\/toronto\/article\/toronto-man-found-fatally-shot-in-downtown-toronto-identified-by-police\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.ctvnews.ca\/toronto\/article\/toronto-man-found-fatally-shot-in-downtown-toronto-identified-by-police\/\">Mohamed Ahmed<\/a> was found suffering from a gunshot wound inside a vehicle in a parking lot near Sherbourne and Shuter streets on the afternoon of July 25, 2023.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">Ahmed was pronounced dead at the scene.
