Postmedia may earn an affiliate commission from purchases made through links on this page.<\/p>\n<p data-async=\"\">It looks like Chet Hanks will be spending his <a data-evt-val=\"{\" control_fields=\"\" link=\"\" boy=\"\" summer=\"\" data-evt=\"click\" data-evt-typ=\"click\" href=\"https:\/\/torontosun.com\/entertainment\/celebrity\/tom-hanks-son-launches-anti-vax-tirade-get-over-it\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">White Boy Summer<\/a> in a Nashville trailer park.<\/p>\n<p>The 35-year-old son of actors Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson has been living out of a Jayco Eagle RV in a trailer park after moving out to Nashville, Tenn., in hopes of making it big in country music with his band, Something Out West.<\/p>\n<p>Article content<\/p>\n<p>Appearing on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon\u00a0on Tuesday, Hanks discussed his move to Nashville, stating he didn\u2019t want to get an apartment in the Tennessee capital because he \u201cliterally just got a condo in L.A.\u201d<\/p>\n<p data-async=\"\">\u201cI didn\u2019t want to do that again, and I didn\u2019t want to furnish it,\u201d said Hanks, per <a data-evt-val=\"{\" control_fields=\"\" link=\"\" news=\"\" data-evt=\"click\" data-evt-typ=\"click\" href=\"https:\/\/www.eonline.com\/ca\/news\/1431521\/tom-hanks-son-chet-hanks-living-in-nashville-trailer-park\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">E! I got a walk-in shower. That\u2019s a big deal in trailers.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The Running Point actor also liked the community he has been able to develop at his new trailer, stating that trailer parks don\u2019t live up to their \u201csketchy\u201d stereotype.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m probably the youngest person in the trailer park by 30 or 40 years,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>Hanks said it\u2019s \u201call just retirees\u201d and his neighbours are \u201cgreat people.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI do have a campfire outside of it.
