The MIAA Tournament continues to belong to the Hope College women’s tennis team.<\/p>\n
The Flying Dutch won the postseason event for the 14th consecutive time \u2014 and 15th overall \u2014\u00a0on Saturday by seving a 4-0 victory against second-seeded Calvin University at VandePoel-Heeringa Stadium Courts.<\/p>\n
Hope (16-7 overall) clinched the MIAA’s automatic berth to the NCAA Division III Championships. The field is announced on Monday, May 4.<\/p>\n
The Flying Dutch, who also were the regular-season champions,\u00a0have won 28 consecutive MIAA Tournament matches dating back to 2012.<\/p>\n
Hope last met Calvin in the championship match in 2018.
