The Wake Forest edge defender has <a href=\"https:\/\/3downnation.com\/2026\/04\/27\/canadian-dl-nuer-gatkuoth-accepts-nfl-rookie-mini-camp-invite-from-denver-broncos-sources\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\" data-t-l=\":b|z|k|\u2691u\" class=\"gnt_ar_b_a\">accepted an invite<\/a> to attend <a href=\"\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" data-t-l=\":b|e|k|\u2691u\" class=\"gnt_ar_b_a\">Denver Broncos<\/a> rookie minicamp <a href=\"http:\/\/broncoswire.usatoday.com\/story\/sports\/nfl\/broncos\/2026\/04\/25\/denver-broncos-2026-undrafted-free-agent-tracker\/89758206007\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\" data-t-l=\":b|e|k|\u2691u\" class=\"gnt_ar_b_a\">on a tryout basis<\/a>, hoping to impress enough to win a spot on the 90-man offseason roster.<\/p>\n<p class=\"gnt_ar_b_p\">If the 23-year-old pass rusher doesn&#8217;t receive a roster offer from the <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/sportsdata.usatoday.com\/football\/nfl\/teams\/denver-broncos\/332\" data-autotag=\"80ecb2c2-c4e3-4c9a-8c53-01c0a2da3542\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\" data-t-l=\":b|e|k|\u2691u\" class=\"gnt_ar_b_a\">Broncos<\/a>, he could return to his home country to continue his football career. The Winnipeg Blue Bombers of the Canadian Football League selected Gatkuoth with the fourth overall pick in the first round of the CFL draft on Tuesday evening.<\/p>\n<p class=\"gnt_ar_b_p\">Gatkuoth (6-3, 237 pounds) was born in Edmonton, and he played high school football in Alberta and Toronto before moving to Atlanta. At the college level, he spent three years at Colorado State before transferring to Wake Forest in 2025.
