Ashley Graham blasted the effects of the GLP-1 trend<\/a> when it comes to the body positivity movement.<\/p>\n

The model covers Marie Claire\u2019s new Motherhood issue<\/a> and called the popularity of weight loss drugs like Ozempic and Mounjaro, as well as the return of thinner runway models, \u201creally disheartening.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cThere was a pendulum that swung that was so body acceptance, positivity,\u00a0everybody be who they want to be,\u201d she told the magazine. \u201cAnd now it\u2019s going back this whole opposite way that feels like a smack in the face to the women who have felt like they\u2019ve had a voice.\u201d<\/p>\n

But she noted that GLP-1s won\u2019t erase plus-size women\u2019s existence.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt goes with the times\u2014and GLP-1s are a time\u2026I know that there are and there\u2019s gonna still be women who are considered plus size forever,\u201d she said. \u201cThis drug isn\u2019t going to wipe out a whole statistic of women.\u201d<\/p>\n

The mother of three, 38, is also proud of how the body positivity movement has evolved.<\/p>\n

\u201cThere\u2019s so many [plus size influencers and creators]\u2026they\u2019re all over the place with their sizes and their proportions and how they look and how they\u2019re relatable,\u201d she pointed out. \u201cAnd to me, that\u2019s the coolest part about all of this.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cSeeing that these girls, who were raised on social media at such a young age are now coming in and they have a platform to say to the younger generation, \u2018Be yourself, be who you want to be. If you have cellulite, who cares?\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n

The return of super slim physiques on the red carpet, especially during this year\u2019s awards season<\/a>, has caused plenty of conversation.<\/p>\n

Multiple sources told Page Six in March that some already-thin stars are taking so-called microdoses<\/a>, or \u201cbaby\u201d doses of Ozempic or other weight-loss \u201cjabs\u201d that are smaller quantities than the FDA-approved therapeutic dosage. <\/p>\n

One A-list stylist told Page Six that those who dress the stars are in an awkward position<\/a>, and they fear some celebs are\u00a0blind to how thin<\/a>\u00a0they are.<\/p>\n

Graham is a mother to three sons with her husband, Justin Ervin \u2014 Isaac, 6, and twins Malachi and Roman, 4. Instagram<\/p>\n

\u201cYou can\u2019t tell these actresses they\u2019re too skinny,\u201d the stylist said. \u201cThey\u2019ll just say, but [another actress] is smaller than I am!\u201d<\/p>\n

Graham isn\u2019t the only celeb questioning the popularity of GLP-1s, which are used to treat Type 2 diabetes, but are widely prescribed for weight loss.<\/p>\n

Podcaster Brianna Chickenfry shared in a TikTok video<\/a> in March, \u201cEvery single bitch I know is on Ozempic. People that do not need Ozempic. It\u2019s like if I did Ozempic. Could I lose a couple? Surely. Do I need Ozempic? No!\u201d<\/p>\n

The influencer had a harsh warning for those who use the drug without good reason: \u201cYou\u2019re gonna die.
