We\u2019re in the peak of whalewatching season in B.C., but recently, a Vancouver woman caught a \u201cmagical\u201d display of Orcas near the seawall, under the Lions Gate Bridge.<\/p>\n
The video from Instagram user @lindsapedia has now gone viral, with over 20,000 likes and hundreds of thousands of views.<\/p>\n
\u201cToday and Yesterday we had the absolute pleasure of seeing Orcas coast under the Lions Gate Bridge very close to the sea wall,\u201d she wrote.<\/p>\n
The IG user said that what she observed were three transient Orca pods across the two days, and she waited an hour to see them over the past weekend. On both days (Saturday and Sunday), they passed between 2 and 4 p.m.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt was emotional, magical, breathtaking,\u201d she wrote, adding, \u201cI\u2019m so grateful for the community that makes these sightings possible. Special shout out to my new friend Anastasiya for filming while I took photos.\u201d<\/p>\n
