For at least the third time in just over a month, the Queen of Surrey is experiencing issues that have led to sailing cancellations or delays.<\/p>\n
As of 2 p.m., two sailings \u2014 the 12:10 p.m. leaving Horseshoe Bay and the 1:15 p.m. departing Langdale \u2014 have been cancelled.<\/p>\n
At risk of cancellation, BC Ferries says, are the 2:25 p.m. sailing departing Horseshoe Bay and the 3:35 p.m. leaving Langdale. As of 2:30 p.m., the service hasn\u2019t updated the service notice.<\/p>\n
Water taxis are being brought in, the company said around 1 p.m.<\/p>\n
On April 2, the vessel, which services the Horseshoe Bay to Langdale route, was pulled out of service due to a technical issue. On April 15, the ship experienced a generator failure around 9 a.m. The issue was resolved by the afternoon.<\/p>\n
