The world championship runs May 15-31 in Switzerland.<\/p>\n<p>The Whitehorse native, 18, recently completed his freshman season at Penn State, where he notched 15 goals and 36 assists in 35 games.<\/p>\n<p>McKenna has played for Canada at the world junior championship the past two years.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"There&#8217;s a change of plans for Gavin McKenna.
