The announcement positions Brampton as the grand finale of a national celebration tour that stretches coast to coast.<\/p>\n<p>Residents and visitors can look forward to live match screenings, fan experiences, cultural programming, and local business activations throughout the two-day event. All events are free and open to the public, offering accessible opportunities for families and soccer fans of all ages.<\/p>\n<p>The July celebrations are the culmination of months of build-up in the city. The road began in March, when Brampton hosted a community kickoff celebration at City Hall, welcoming homegrown soccer talent and officially launching the City\u2019s Where the Game Grows campaign \u2014 a summer of soccer-inspired programming and community activities.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBrampton has long been a city where soccer lives in our neighbourhoods, parks and communities, and where local talent rises to the national and international stage. Hosting the final stop on this national celebration tour is a proud moment for our city,\u201d said Mayor Patrick Brown.<\/p>\n<p>While not an official FIFA host city, Brampton plays a defining role in Canada\u2019s soccer story.
