Despite previously being expected to play<\/a>, Hockey Canada and McKenna\u2019s representatives felt it\u2019s in his best interest to focus on the NHL Draft Combine instead of playing at the world championship, added Dreger. <\/p>\n Gavin McKenna won\u2019t be on Team Canada\u2019s roster for the Men\u2019s World Championship. A group decision involving Hockey Canada and McKenna\u2019s representatives feel it\u2019s best to focus on the NHL combine.
