Winnipeg police say a 19-year-old has been charged after turning himself in, in connection with a shooting incident in April, where two teens were also charged.<\/p>\n
WPS says officers responded to a home on Simcoe Street near St. Matthews Avenue on April 24, after receiving a report that the home had been shot at.<\/p>\n
When officers arrived at the scene, they found a loaded MP40 submachine gun, additional firearms, drugs, cash, and other items consistent with drug trafficking in the home. At the time, two teens \u2014 a 16-year-old and a 17-year-old \u2014 were found within the home and were taken into custody.<\/p>\n
Both teens were charged with multiple firearms, drug trafficking, possession of stolen property, and proceeds of crime offences.<\/p>\n
Over the course of the investigation, police were able to identify a third individual who was believed to be connected to the incident and issued an arrest warrant for 19-year-old Nathaniel Malikov.<\/p>\n
