Jaylen Brown reiterated his commitment to the Boston Celtics on Wednesday, denying speculation that he’s frustrated with the franchise.<\/p>\n

“I love Boston,” Brown said during a Twitch livestream<\/a>. “And if it was up to me, I could play in Boston for the next 10 years.”<\/p>\n

Brown’s future became a hot topic after Hall of Famer Tracy McGrady said on his podcast<\/a> that Brown has frustration that “lies deeply within the (Celtics) organization.”<\/p>\n

“It’s just been a lot of stuff that I’ve been hearing, going on with the Boston organization with JB,” McGrady added.<\/p>\n

Celtics president of basketball operations Brad Stevens was asked about it earlier Wednesday. He said he had a “positive” conversation with Brown on Monday after Boston’s Game 7 loss to the Philadelphia 76ers, according to Daniel Donabedian of Celtics Wire<\/a>.<\/p>\n

“Everybody around here loves JB,” Stevens added.<\/p>\n

Brown also spoke highly of his rapport with Stevens.<\/p>\n

“I hate that our president of basketball operations even had to respond to this,” Brown said. “Me and Brad have a great relationship.”<\/p>\n

Brown, a former NBA Finals MVP, averaged a career-high 28.7 points in 71 appearances this season.
