Billionaire hedge funder John Paulson\u00a0and his ex-wife, Jenny Paulson, have settled their divorce, Page Six has exclusively learned.<\/p>\n
The settlement is sealed, but court docs reflect that the settlement was filed May 4.<\/p>\n
\u201cJenny Paulson and John Paulson have come to the decision to amicably settle their divorce and trust-related litigations,\u201d said Jenny\u2019s attorney Robert S. Cohen, and John\u2019s attorney Marilyn Chinitz, in a joint statement on Wednesday. \u201cThey consider this settlement a private matter and neither party nor any family nor friends of the parties will have any further comment.\u201d<\/p>\n

The settlement marks the end of a years-long bitter legal battle<\/a> between the exes. <\/p>\n Back in July 2022, Jenny accused the billionaire of setting up a \u201csecretive web of trusts\u201d to hide money from her,\u00a0according to court documents<\/a>. Paulson\u2019s side denied the accusation, saying in court docs that the trusts were set up together decades ago to protect their kids.<\/p>\n We reported in 2024 that John had offered Jenny hundreds of millions in cash\u00a0in their divorce<\/a> <\/a>after 21 years of marriage<\/a>\u00a0\u2014 but that Jenny called the offer \u201chumiliating and demeaning.\u201d <\/p>\n Paulson is engaged to Alina de Almeida.
