In the end, the home side built a 3-0 lead, and while the visitors fought back with goals from Mason Shaw (<a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/ICdave\/status\/2052188508589023737\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">here<\/a>) and Samuel Fagemo (<a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/ICdave\/status\/2052201100946632981\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">here<\/a>), they ultimately fell short. The Griffins added an empty-netter to <a href=\"https:\/\/illegalcurve.com\/moose-comeback-falls-short-in-grand-rapids-as-griffins-grab-2-1-series-lead\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">seal a 4-2 victory<\/a> and take a 2-1 series lead in the best-0f-five. Today, Manitoba will hold a practice as they prepare for an elimination Game 4 on Friday.<\/p>\n<p>Note II: It was confirmed that Jets prospect Edison Engle (2025 6th) <a href=\"https:\/\/illegalcurve.com\/winnipeg-jets-prospect-edison-engle-changes-commitment-to-western-michigan\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">switched up his college commitment<\/a> at some point this year and will be heading to Western Michigan rather than Ohio State.<\/p>\n<p>Jets news:<\/p>\n<p>Global News:\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/globalnews.ca\/news\/11836602\/analysis-winnipeg-jets-pick-eight-2026-nhl-entry-draft\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">Start debate on Winnipeg Jets\u2019 pick at 8 in 2026 NHL entry draft<\/a>.
