Charlize Theron<\/a> has found her next project, joining up on an upcoming action movie that will see her reunite with a director she\u2019s worked with before.<\/p>\n

What is Charlize Theron\u2019s new action movie called?<\/p>\n

According to a new report from Deadline, Theron will reunite with director Baltasar Korm\u00e1kur<\/a> for his next project. The movie, titled Six Clean Kills, will come from Universal Pictures, and see Theron produce the project with \u201can eye to star.\u201d The film is based on unpublished Stan Parish novel, with Parish also on board the project to adapt the script.<\/p>\n

Plot details for the upcoming movie are unknown as of yet, as they\u2019re being kept under wraps due to the nature of the novel not being out as of yet. Deadline notes the project is being produced through Theron\u2019s first-look deal with Universal, with Korm\u00e1kur also producing the project.<\/p>\n

Both Theron and Korm\u00e1kur have previously collaborated on Apex<\/a>, the Netflix action movie that released last month. That film has been a hit for the streamer, debuting at #1 on their global English film list, and remaining in the top ten for two straight weeks since its release. The movie follows the story of a rock climber and kayaker who finds herself being hunted in the wilds of Australia.<\/p>\n

Prior to Apex, Theron last appeared in 2025\u2019s The Old Guard 2 and 2023\u2019s Fast X, but is next set to appear in Christopher Nolan\u2019s The Odyssey.<\/p>\n
