A revered American astrophysicist and science communicator made his way to the Vancouver space centre, and it looked like he had a blast.<\/p>\n
H.R. MacMillan Space Centre shared the news on its social media channels<\/a> yesterday, saying it was \u201chonoured to welcome the one and only Dr. Neil deGrasse Tyson to the Space Centre.\u201d<\/p>\n The space centre added that it was thrilled to have him explore the centre\u2019s various spaces, meet staff, and speak about inspiring youth and adults \u201cin the work that we do together.\u201d<\/p>\n It also pointed out that Tyson is the executive director at the Hayden Planetarium in New York.<\/p>\n \u201cHe brought insightful words about his experience as an esteemed astrophysicist and science communicator, which was truly inspiring!\u201d<\/p>\n The Vancouver space centre also thanked him for his words and his visit, and also the caterers and beverage providers who made the event possible.<\/p>\n \u201cThis was an inspiring day that will stay with us for a long time, and we look forward to continuing to ignite curiosity and passion for space in our community,\u201d the space centre added.\u00a0<\/p>\n @spacecentreyvr<\/a> \ud83d\udc68\u200d\ud83d\ude80Yesterday, we were honoured to welcome the one and only Dr. Neil deGrasse Tyson (@StarTalk \u266c original sound \u2013 H.R. Love!\u201d<\/p>\n Another person said, \u201cThat must have been an awesome experience.\u201d<\/p>\n However, someone clearly isn\u2019t a Tyson fan, saying, \u201cI dislike this man immensely.\u201d<\/p>\n The space centre currently has a bunch of shows and exhibits on, including features at the immersive dome like Beautifica 360<\/a>.<\/p>\n \u201cCreated by visionary composer James Hood and acclaimed immersive artists, \u2028Beautifica is the perfect date night or a unique evening with loved ones,\u201d the space centre says.<\/p>\n
