<\/p>\nRegion of Peel \u2013 Investigators from the Vice and Human Trafficking Unit have arrested a 23-year-old Brampton man in connection with a human trafficking investigation.<\/p>\n
In April, Peel Regional Police was alerted to a female who was being trafficked within the sex industry. Between October 2025 and February 2026, it is alleged that the accused manipulated her into working in the sex trade.\u00a0<\/p>\n
It is further alleged that the accused then took control of aspects of the victim\u2019s life, created advertisements, located clients, and financially benefitted from her exploitation.\u00a0<\/p>\n
On April 24, Kabir Jangra, 23, from Brampton was arrested and charged with the following offences:<\/p>\n

\nTrafficking Persons
\nReceiving Benefits Resulting from Trafficking in Persons
\nReceive Material Benefits from Sexual Services

Jangra was held for a bail hearing and attended the Ontario Court of Justice in Brampton.<\/p>\n
