{"id":655962,"date":"2026-05-08T12:34:27","date_gmt":"2026-05-08T12:34:27","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/655962\/"},"modified":"2026-05-08T12:34:27","modified_gmt":"2026-05-08T12:34:27","slug":"stolen-vehicles-worth-235k-and-fake-vin-stickers-seized-in-raid-north-of-brampton","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/655962\/","title":{"rendered":"Stolen vehicles worth $235K and fake VIN stickers seized in raid north of Brampton"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Police are still investigating after finding stolen rides worth some $235,000, ammunition and fake vehicle identification number (VIN) stickers at a property north of Brampton.<\/p>\n<p>The bust happened after the OPP says officers were alerted to a stolen vehicle that had been found at a residential property in the Alton area of Caledon.<\/p>\n<p>Police searched the property later that day and say investigators recovered four stolen vehicles with an approximate value of $235,000.<\/p>\n<p>Vehicle master keys, fraudulent VIN stickers and 9mm ammunition were also seized in the search, police say.<\/p>\n<p>The OPP hasn\u2019t said whether any charges are pending, but says the investigation is ongoing.<\/p>\n<p>Anyone with information about this incident can contact the OPP by calling 1-888-310-1122.
