{"id":656326,"date":"2026-05-08T16:35:08","date_gmt":"2026-05-08T16:35:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/656326\/"},"modified":"2026-05-08T16:35:08","modified_gmt":"2026-05-08T16:35:08","slug":"four-now-charged-after-brampton-man-shot-dead-at-woodbine-mall-in-toronto","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/656326\/","title":{"rendered":"Four now charged after Brampton man shot dead at Woodbine Mall in Toronto"},"content":{"rendered":"<p data-start=\"0\" data-end=\"159\">Police in Toronto have arrested two more people in connection with the targeted killing of a Brampton man at Woodbine Mall in February.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"161\" data-end=\"287\">The latest arrests bring the total number of people charged in the death of 37-year-old Chandan Kumar Raja Nandakumar to four.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"289\" data-end=\"399\">Nandakumar was shot and killed on Feb. 7 in the parking lot of the mall near Rexdale Boulevard and Highway 27.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"401\" data-end=\"509\">Police say Xzavier Blake, 18, of Toronto, has been charged with first-degree murder.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"511\" data-end=\"642\">Also charged is Dyson Taylor, 18, of Brantford, who faces one count of accessory after the fact to murder.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"644\" data-end=\"851\">Earlier in the investigation, Thomas Badger, 19, was arrested in Calgary after allegedly fleeing the province while the subject of a Canada-wide warrant.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"853\" data-end=\"1163\">Badger has also been charged with first-degree murder in the Nandakumar case.
