\u201cSo if I was to film a video during the week of one of their events with a content creator or a celebrity, that would be in violation to my knowledge \u2026 It\u2019s their policy, they didn\u2019t let me do it when I was on there. I asked various times,\u201d DeChambeau told Skratch in an exclusive interview Wednesday.<\/a><\/p>\n This report comes just days after DeChambeau, who is in the final year of his LIV Golf contract, complained about how the PGA Tour\u2019s regulations against shooting content during practice rounds on tournament grounds would be an issue for him if he pursued a return.<\/p>\n FOS reported \u2014 and perhaps cleared up some confusion in DeChambeau\u2019s mind \u2014 that \u201cthere remains no limit on how much on-site player-created content can be published during non-competition days. For example, DeChambeau could film an entire practice round at a PGA Tour event and publish it as part of his\u00a0popular Break 50 series.\u201d<\/p>\n DeChambeau has made it clear that the growth of his YouTube channel \u2014\u00a0which has 2.69 million followers \u2014 is one of his top priorities as he hits golf\u2019s version of free agency.<\/p>\n The future of LIV Golf is very much in question after Saudi Arabia\u2019s Public Investment Fund (PIF) recently announced that they are pulling their financial backing.<\/p>\n LIV CEO Scott O\u2019Neil is leading a search for private-investment capital in order to keep the rebel league alive this year.<\/p>\n However, even if the league is able to survive it is unclear if they will be able to afford the type of contract that DeChambeau could command \u2014\u00a0with a $500 million number being rumored recently.<\/p>\n \u201cWhat I can tell you about Bryson is, in my 34 years in sports, I\u2019ve never met an athlete this purely focused on growing his brand in an authentic way,\u2019\u2019 O\u2019Neil told The Post\u2019s Mark Cannizzaro this week.<\/a> \u201cHe lives it. There\u2019s nobody more focused on LIV, including yours truly, than Bryson. He\u2019s riffing on business plans, working his network, driving creative ideas.<\/p>\n \u201cWhatever deal we work out [to retain DeChambeau] will be the deal we work out. It is a new era [without the Saudi billions backing LIV], but I have so much confidence that he is going to be the leader going forward. With Bryson DeChambeau, we have a heck of a bright future.\u2019\u2019<\/p>\n DeChambeau said that if LIV does fold he would consider working on his YouTube content and then would \u201clove to play tournaments that want me.\u201d<\/p>\n He also told ESPN this week that the circumstances for returning to the PGA Tour are \u201cquite unfortunate,\u201d hinting at fines that players from LIV would face. <\/p>\n However, in his interview with Sktratch, it did not seem as if he was completely closing the door on a return.<\/p>\n![\"Bryson](\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/bryson-dechambeau-crushers-gc-reacts-125799129.jpg\")
