{"id":656519,"date":"2026-05-08T18:36:11","date_gmt":"2026-05-08T18:36:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/656519\/"},"modified":"2026-05-08T18:36:11","modified_gmt":"2026-05-08T18:36:11","slug":"crash-between-sedan-and-transport-truck-north-of-brampton-under-investigation-police","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/656519\/","title":{"rendered":"Crash between sedan and transport truck north of Brampton under investigation: police"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Anyone who may have witnessed a serious crash that left one person with life-threatening injuries north of Brampton is being asked to contact investigators.<\/p>\n<p>The two-vehicle collision happened <a href=\"https:\/\/www.insauga.com\/closure-life-threatening-injuries-reported-in-crash-north-of-brampton-highway-closed\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">around 7:45 a.m. on Wednesday on Highway 9 between Highway 50 and Duffy\u2019s Lane<\/a> in Caledon, the OPP says.<\/p>\n<p>Police say a transport truck and sedan collided, and the driver of the sedan was rushed to hospital suffering from life-threatening injuries.<\/p>\n<p>Officers closed Highway 9 between Highway 50 and Humber Station Road for several hours, and investigators are asking anyone with information about the crash to come forward.<\/p>\n<p>Anyone who may have witnessed the collision or has dashcam footage from the area is asked to contact the OPP by calling 1-888-310-1122.
