(Image Credit: Surrey Langley SkyTrain)<\/p>\n<p>By Alyssa Conti<\/p>\n<p>Reaching for the SkyTrain<\/p>\n<p>\n\t\t\t\tMay 8, 2026 | 10:44 AM\n\t\t\t<\/p>\n<p>LANGLEY \u2014 New SkyTrain stations are well underway for residents south of the Fraser River.<\/p>\n<p>The federal Housing, Infrastructure and Communities department has announced that all eight stations extending the Expo Line from King George Station in Surrey to Langley City Centre are now under construction.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe Surrey Langley SkyTrain will transform the way people move around Metro Vancouver,\u201d said Infrastructure Minister Gregor Robertson.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBreaking ground on the last of eight stations is a huge step towards building vital and reliable public transit connections.
