{"id":656616,"date":"2026-05-08T19:37:15","date_gmt":"2026-05-08T19:37:15","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/656616\/"},"modified":"2026-05-08T19:37:15","modified_gmt":"2026-05-08T19:37:15","slug":"more-tips-sought-on-suspect-in-soccer-player-homicide-winnipeg-free-press","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/656616\/","title":{"rendered":"More tips sought on suspect in soccer player homicide \u2013 Winnipeg Free Press"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Winnipeg police are renewing calls for tips on the whereabouts of an accused killer who\u2019s been on the lam since July 2024.<\/p>\n<p>Homicide detectives believe Tresor Horimbere, 23, may be travelling throughout Canada to avoid arrest, the Winnipeg Police Service said Friday.<\/p>\n<p>Horimbere is accused of first-degree murder in the brazen shooting of amateur soccer star <a href=\"https:\/\/www.winnipegfreepress.com\/breakingnews\/2024\/07\/15\/police-id-soccer-player-killed-after-cup-of-nations-game\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">Mohamed Yusuf Abdullahi<\/a>, 22, after a Canada Africa Cup of Nations game in July 2024.<\/p>\n<p>The non-profit Bolo Program is offering a $100,000 reward for information that leads to Horimbere\u2019s arrest.<\/p>\n<p>He\u2019s Black, about 5-8 and 120 lbs.
