The NFL will release the 2026 schedule next Thursday, March 14th.<\/a> One game is known for sure already: The Los Angeles Rams open against the San Francisco 49ers<\/a> on Thursday, September 10th in Melbourne, Australia.<\/p>\n

We will know the rest of their games in less than a week.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe league already has announced that the San Francisco 49ers<\/a> and Los Angeles Rams<\/a> will meet in Melbourne, Australia, in Week 1. The game will be aired in primetime in the United States at 8:35 p.m. ET on Sept. 10. Melbourne is 14 hours ahead of New York and 17 hours ahead of Los Angeles<\/a> and San Francisco<\/a>, meaning the game will kick off at 10:35 a.m. the next day in Australia.\u201c<\/p>\n

\u201cThe game between the Baltimore Ravens<\/a> and Dallas Cowboys<\/a> in Rio de Janeiro will take place in Week 3 (Sept. 27). The other seven international matchups will be announced on Wednesday at 9 a.m. ET on \u201cGood Morning Football\u201d on NFL Network.\u201c<\/p>\n

We\u2019ve known the Rams 2026 opponents for months<\/a>. There should be plenty of ripe opportunities for primetime games, including one against the Seahawks<\/a> for certain given that they were the NFL\u2019s biggest rivalry last season.<\/p>\n

We could also expect the Chiefs<\/a>, Cowboys, Eagles, and Packers<\/a> to be notable draws for a national audience, not to mention the Chargers<\/a>, Broncos<\/a>, Giants, and Bucs.<\/p>\n

With the 49ers and Seahawks certainly set for primetime, including Week 1, the Rams might attract a primetime audience for their game against the Chiefs, as well probably the Packers, Eagles, and I\u2019ll say the Bucs.<\/p>\n
