Kevin Bacon was attacked by a swarm of bees while out on a hike with his daughter, Sosie, and her partner, Scoot McNairy, this week.<\/p>\n
The \u201cFootloose\u201d star recounted the startling incident in a hilarious video shared to his Instagram<\/a> on Thursday.<\/p>\n \u201cSo I went for a hike the other day with Sosie and Scoot,\u201d Bacon, 67, began. \u201cScoot was in the front, Sosie was in the middle, and I was holding up the rear.\u201d<\/p>\n Kevin Bacon (pictured here in an Instagram video shared on Thursday) was attacked by a swarm of bees while out hiking. Instagram\/Kevin Bacon<\/p>\n He continued, \u201cScoot points out to the left that there\u2019s a beehive over there. Sosie says, \u2018Dad, hey, there\u2019s a beehive. Watch out.’\u201d<\/p>\n Although the \u201cMystic River\u201d star made a point to keep his distance from the beehive, its buzzy inhabitants apparently had a score to settle with Bacon.<\/p>\n \u201cSo these bees, they must not have liked my work or something because they left the two of them alone, and they went full on after me. \u2018Let\u2019s attack KB,’\u201d the actor joked. \u201cBees stinging me everywhere, including underneath my shirt.\u201d<\/p>\n And while Sosie, 34, didn\u2019t catch the bee attack on camera, she was more than happy to reenact the entire incident for her famous father.<\/p>\n Bacon said that the bee attack happened while he was out hiking with his daughter, Sosie, and her partner, Scoot McNairy. Instagram\/Kevin Bacon<\/p>\n \u201cNow, it was very nice of my daughter to not take out her phone and start videoing this epic bee sting dance that I was doing,\u201d Bacon laughed. \u201cBut I asked her if there was any way that she could recreate it from memory.\u201d<\/p>\n The \u201cApollo 13\u201d star\u2019s Instagram video then cut to a clip of his daughter acting out her dad\u2019s \u201cepic bee sting dance.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cThere\u2019s bees in there,\u201d the \u201cSmile\u201d star said before thrashing around, swatting at a swarm of make-believe bees with her hat and ripping off her sweater.<\/p>\n \u201cThe bees attack KB by [Sosie Bacon]\u201d the Golden Globe winner captioned the video.<\/p>\n But the actor and his daughter weren\u2019t the only family members to get in on the fun, as Bacon\u2019s wife of nearly 40 years, Kyra Sedgwick, rushed to the comments section to laugh at Sosie\u2019s reenactment.<\/p>\n Sosie (pictured here in another clip Bacon shared on Instagram Thursday) reenacted the bee attack for her famous father.
