The City of Winnipeg is asking residents to help shape the final design of a new pedestrian bridge in Omand\u2019s Creek as it moves ahead with plans to replace the aging bridge in the city\u2019s west end.<\/p>\n
The redesign aims to improve safety and accessibility for people of all ages and abilities, while also supporting pedestrians and cyclists and preserving the surrounding natural environment.<\/p>\n
City officials say public feedback will help guide key decisions, including how well the proposed design supports park use, how it balances accessibility with environmental protection, and what concerns still need to be addressed before finalizing plans.<\/p>\n
Residents can review project boards and complete an online survey, which is open until June 14, 2026.<\/p>\n
In addition to the survey, the project team will host two in-person drop-in events where residents can speak directly with staff and share feedback:<\/p>\n
