Still, Phoenix returns stars Alyssa Thomas and Kahleah Copper from last year\u2019s Finals run.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p id=\"inline-text-2\" class=\"my-[18px] [&amp;_a]:text-primary my-f-1.5\" q:key=\"0\" q:id=\"7n\">Meanwhile, the Aces brought back A\u2019ja Wilson, Chelsea Gray, Jewell Lody and Jackie Young, making them one of the favorites to win the title in the 2026 season.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p id=\"inline-text-3\" class=\"my-[18px] [&amp;_a]:text-primary my-f-1.5\" q:key=\"0\" q:id=\"7q\">Las Vegas is heavily favored at home in this season opener, and it closed on the 2025 season on a massive winning streak to earn the No. 2 seed in the standings. Playing off of A\u2019ja Wilson has its perks, and Young should get free for a few jumpers in this matchup.<\/p>\n<p id=\"inline-text-25\" class=\"my-[18px] [&amp;_a]:text-primary my-f-1.5\" q:key=\"0\" q:id=\"9k\">Last season, the Aces guard had 24 regular-season games with at least two 3-pointers.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Mercury vs. Aces Prediction and Pick<\/p>\n<p id=\"inline-text-27\" class=\"my-[18px] [&amp;_a]:text-primary my-f-1.5\" q:key=\"0\" q:id=\"9q\">The Aces swept the Mercury in the WNBA Finals last season, and Las Vegas returns most of its core from that championship team.<\/p>\n<p id=\"inline-text-28\" class=\"my-[18px] [&amp;_a]:text-primary my-f-1.5\" q:key=\"0\" q:id=\"9t\">Meanwhile, Satou Sabally left the Mercury in the offseason, leaving a pretty big hole for the team on offense.
