2 injured in early morning Surrey shooting<\/p>\n

Two men remain in critical condition after early morning shots fired.<\/p>\n
This morning (May 10) at 3:49 a.m. Surrey Police Service (SPS) reports in a release that frontline workers responded to calls of two men being shot outside the Chevron gas station in the 7100 block of 152 Street, Surrey.<\/p>\n
SPS says that officers arrived and found two men suffering from gunshot wounds and were given emergency medical aid on site.<\/p>\n
The two men were said to be transported to hospital by BCEH.<\/p>\n
The two men still remain in hospital and are in critical condition.<\/p>\n
This shots fired incident is not believed to be extortion related.<\/p>\n
SPS shares that their major crime section has now taken over the investigation and police are examining the scene and area for both physical and digital evidence.<\/p>\n
The intersection of 72 Avenue and 152 Street is expected to be closed for most of the morning as officers examine the area.<\/p>\n
At this early stage of the investigation, SPS says there is no suspect information available to share with the public and the motive is still unknown.<\/p>\n
