The problem\u00a0seems to be happening across all Spotify apps, not just Android, and affecting many different device types including Nest speakers, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.reddit.com\/r\/Chromecast\/comments\/1t7er5e\/spotify_stopped_showing_my_gen2_chromecast_audio\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Chromecast Audio<\/a>, and more. <\/p>\n<p>Spotify says that it is aware of the problem and that it \u201cis being looked into,\u201d but there\u2019s no word on a specific fix.<\/p>\n<p>The thread on which Spotify made this confirmation started in 2024, with users intermittently noticing the problem in the time since.
