Formula 1 fans have flocked to social media after an interview with American Tonight Show host Jimmy Fallon and Red Bull drivers Max Verstappen<\/a> and Isack Hadjar<\/a> has gone viral.<\/p>\n

After Fallon kicked off the interaction, Verstappen said, \u201cI love being here,\u201d before the TV host continued: \u201cMax Verstappen, like Ver-stopping at the store, Ver-stopping to get coffee, you know?\u201d But it was the four-time champion\u2019s quick response that had left fans in stitches.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cVer-stopping this interview,\u201d the Dutchman joked with a deadpan look on his face.<\/p>\n

Fans clearly had fun in the comments. \u201cGonna get a Max Verslappin’ if he doesn’t pack it in,\u201d one fan said on Reddit, while another added: \u201cThe sarcasm on that \u2018I loove being here\u2019 lmao.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cVerstappen should start doing The Office thing whenever he does interviews like these. Say something sarcastic and then look at the camera,\u201d wrote someone else, and another fan commented: \u201cWow the Verstopping nonsense was soo forced. I am feeling the 2nd hand embarrassment through the screen.\u201d<\/p>\n

Other comments included: \u201cJimmy Fallon will never be ready for Max and his sarcasms. Max totally nailed it,\u201d and \u201cMax made a better punchline than Jimmy and he wasn’t even trying.\u201d<\/p>\n

The interaction was part of a bigger collaboration between Fallon and Ford, with the interview with the Red Bull drivers\u00a0obviously being scripted.<\/p>\n

Fallon\u2019s moment with the pair\u00a0wasn\u2019t his only appearance during the Miami Grand Prix weekend. The 51-year-old had one of the most bizarre interactions with former F1 driver and Sky Sports analyst Martin Brundle<\/a> during the grid walk ahead of the race at the Hard Rock Stadium. After he was asked for some \u2018funny lines\u2019, he proceeded to take the microphone from Brundle and bite the cover. Taken aback by the moment, Brundle responded, \u201cDon\u2019t do that again.\u201d<\/p>\n

Later, after the race, Brundle took to social media to comment on the moment that had already gone viral. “In 30 years of broadcasting I\u2019ve never wondered what a branded microphone sock tastes like. There\u2019s some very funny people around,\u201d he wrote.<\/p>\n
