\n\tPink Parrot Media<\/a>, the Montreal and Madrid-based family entertainment sales house, heads to Cannes with early deals on animated features \u201cTistou\u201d and \u201cWinner\u201d and a strengthened sales team, tapping former All Rights Entertainment<\/a> executive Aur\u00e9lien Piris as senior sales manager.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe company has closed first territory agreements on \u201cTistou,\u201d its forthcoming CG animated feature adapted from Maurice Druon\u2019s French children\u2019s classic \u201cTistou les Pouces Verts.\u201d The film has been sold to Front Row for the Middle East, Filmarti for Turkey, Pro Films for Bulgaria and MCF for former Yugoslavia territories.<\/p>\n

\n\tProduced by France\u2019s Finalement in co-production with Belgium\u2019s Walking The Dog, \u201cTistou\u201d marks one of Pink Parrot Media\u2019s main Cannes market titles.<\/p>\n

\n\tPink Parrot has also inked a Middle East deal with Front Row for \u201cWinner,\u201d a 3D animated, English-language comedy-adventure produced by Paratha Entertainment in collaboration with the Rafa Nadal Foundation.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cWinner\u201d follows a 12-year-old girl who overcomes difficult circumstances to become one of the best tennis players in history.<\/p>\n

\n\tDeveloped with writer-director Jaime Maestro (\u201cAnimal Crackers\u201d) and Paratha CEO Bartolom\u00e9 Blaya as producer, \u201cWinner\u2019s\u201d script and visuals are being presented by Pink Parrot at Cannes.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe sales deals come as Pink Parrot expands its team with Piris, who joins after 12 years at All Rights Entertainment. There, he worked across international distribution, sales and financing, specializing in animation and theatrical releases.<\/p>\n

\n\tPiris will lead international sales of animated features and will also contribute to acquisitions as Pink Parrot continues to build out its catalogue. He reports to Tania Pinto Da Cunha, Pink Parrot partner, vice president and head of international sales and acquisitions.<\/p>\n

\n\tHis territories include Benelux, Germany, Austria and Switzerland, Italy, Turkey, CIS, Ukraine and key Asian markets including Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, Singapore, South Korea, Thailand and Vietnam.<\/p>\n

\n\tPiris\u2019 credits include work on the international rollout of major animated films, including Chinese comedy \u201cNe Zha 2,\u201d collaborating with producers, distributors and local partners on sales, financing and distribution strategies.<\/p>\n

\n\tPiris said Pink Parrot \u201chas built a strong reputation for championing high-quality family entertainment and ambitious animated projects,\u201d adding that he looks forward to contributing to the expansion of the company\u2019s international presence and partnerships.<\/p>\n

\n\tAt Cannes, Pink Parrot will also show exclusive material from two 3D CG animated features produced by Canada\u2019s CarpeDiem Film & TV: \u201cUnstable,\u201d a whimsical adventure-comedy co-produced with U.K.-based Cantilever Productions, and \u201cThe Bottanix,\u201d a magical comedy-adventure. Both are in production and set for 2027 delivery.<\/p>\n
