Bring Me the Horizon<\/a> frontman Oli Sykes suffered a mild concussion after someone in the crowd threw a phone at him during the band\u2019s concert Monday night, May 11th, at the Enterprise Center in St. Louis.<\/p>\n

Fan-filmed video captured the moment Sykes got struck in the head with the phone while performing \u201cHappy Song\u201d early on in the set, with the singer exclaiming, \u201cWho the fuck just threw a phone at my fuckin\u2019 head?\u201d<\/p>\n

Subsequent footage shows the singer rubbing his temple and appearing to struggle a bit through the performance, although he did manage to finish the show. However, the band did cut out the song \u201cYOUtopia\u201d and Sykes didn\u2019t make his way into the crowd like he usually does during \u201cDrown\u201d toward the end of the set.<\/p>\n

On his Instagram stories today, Sykes wrote the following:<\/p>\n

\u201cAlright everyone \u2013 just wanted to let you know I\u2019m all good. The phone to the head definitely smarted and I ended up with a mild concussion, but the swelling\u2019s gone down a decent amount already.<\/p>\n

Last night I was struggling a bit on stage afterwards because singing was putting a lot of pressure on the wound and making things feel a bit disorienting while performing, so I\u2019m sorry on my part for what may of seemed like a half hearted performance.<\/p>\n

Appreciate everyone checking in and worrying about me though \ud83d\udda4 Everything should be fine for tonight\u2019s gig.\u201d<\/p>\n

Bring Me the Horizon have a few more dates left on their spring North American tour, culminating with a headlining appearance at Sonic Temple festival in Columbus, Ohio, this Saturday, May 16th. As Sykes mentioned, he expects to be okay for tonight\u2019s show in Kansas City.<\/p>\n
