{"id":665753,"date":"2026-05-13T02:49:17","date_gmt":"2026-05-13T02:49:17","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/665753\/"},"modified":"2026-05-13T02:49:17","modified_gmt":"2026-05-13T02:49:17","slug":"man-arrested-charged-after-loaded-gun-seized-during-traffic-stop-surrey-police-say","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/665753\/","title":{"rendered":"Man arrested, charged after loaded gun seized during traffic stop, Surrey police say"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Surrey Police Service (SPS) says a man has been arrested and is being charged with several offences following a gun seizure during a routine traffic stop.<\/p>\n<p>Shortly before 8 p.m. Monday, SPS officers stopped a vehicle near 146th Street and 108th Avenue.<\/p>\n<p>One of the four people in the vehicle had a firearm and was subsequently arrested.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe is known to police,\u201d Staff Sgt.
