A large fight in Surrey sent several people to the hospital Tuesday night.<\/p>\n
Around 8:30 p.m. Tuesday (May 12), Surrey Police Service officers, paramedics and firefighters responded to a report of a large fight in the 13300-block of 89 Avenue, where weapons were allegedly used.<\/p>\n
SPS confirmed Wednesday there was a fight between two groups of people who apparently knew each other.<\/p>\n
Several people were injured and went to hospital with non-life threatening injuries, SPS Staff Sgt. Lindsey Houghton said, noting officers were on scene for much of last night trying to put together what happened.<\/p>\n
