For the past several years, Motorola has launched \u2018flip\u2019 style Razr smartphones, which were reminiscent of the company\u2019s Razr dumb phones.<\/p>\n
From 2023<\/a> to 2025<\/a>, the company has released several of these handsets in Canada, but this year is a little different. In 2026, Motorola is releasing for the first time a \u2018fold\u2019 style Razr handset<\/a> alongside the regional Razr 70, Razr 70+ and Razr 70 Ultra. In the U.S., the Razr 70 Ultra is dubbed the Razr Ultra 2026, but in Canada, the foldable isn\u2019t coming out at all. For the first time in several years, Canada isn\u2019t getting a \u2018flip\u2019 style Razr from Motorola.<\/p>\n I reached out to Motorola to learn why the Razr Ultra 2026 isn\u2019t coming to Canada, and the company had this to say:<\/p>\n \u201cThe Razr Ultra is only available in the U.S. We\u2019re always assessing opportunities in new markets and will share updates if availability expands to Canada.\u201d<\/p>\n However, as mentioned, the Razr Fold is coming to Canada<\/a>. The handset goes on sale on the company\u2019s website on May 21 and will be available at select carriers on June 12.<\/p>\n Motorola will continue selling both the 2025 Razr and Razr Ultra<\/a> in Canada. Currently, you can grab the pretty awesome 2025 Razr Ultra in Canada for $1,199.99<\/a>, $700 off its regular price, and the base model is $849.99, $150 off its regular price.<\/a><\/p>\n
