Post Malone is still struggling to sell tickets to his upcoming tour. The 30-year-oldcountry music crossover artist quietly filled Jelly Roll\u2018s spot with BigXThaPlug for his stop in Nashville.<\/p>\n

I would imagine the swap stems from a simple scheduling conflict or something of that nature, but it has yet to be explained. UPDATE: Jelly Roll was never on the bill for Nashville! Locals wondered why he was not playing his home city. Now we know who is filling his spot.<\/p>\n

This leaves room for country music<\/a> case study. It will be interesting to see whether he can out-sell Jelly Roll. I doubt it. But, to be fair, I\u2019m not sure anything but a price cut can solve this problem.<\/p>\n

Maybe the new music will help. Posty is Posty after all.<\/p>\n

Jelly Roll out for Nashville, BigXThaPlug in.<\/p>\n

Post Malone was originally set to embark on his \u2018BIG ASS Stadium Tour Part 2\u2019 on Wednesday, May 13. He was going to play El Paso, Waco, Baton Rouge, Birmingham, Tampa, and Oxford in the month of May and the first weekend of June. Those shows have since been canceled.<\/p>\n

Posty claimed the decision stemmed from his desire to finish his new album<\/a> before the tour. That might be true! However, it also stemmed from a bad case of \u2018Blue Dot Fever.\u2019 He wasn\u2019t selling tickets.<\/p>\n

College football and NFL stadiums all over the country sat 75% empty<\/a> with just a few weeks until the first concert. A new album will presumably help to generate buzz for live shows so it was an easy excuse\u2026<\/p>\n

The tour will now begin in Charlotte on June 9. Posty will then make stops in Toronto, Hartford, Cleveland, Nashville, Fayetteville, Kansas City, Ames, Missoula, Edmonton and Salt Lake City before he heads out to China, Taiwan, Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia, Philippines, South Korea and Japan. The tour is scheduled to end in Austin on Oct. 24. We\u2019ll see if any of these dates don\u2019t survive.<\/p>\n

Jelly Roll is providing direct support for all of the North America dates with Carter Faith as the opener. Except for one! Post Malone quietly filled Jelly Roll\u2019s with BigXThePlug at his Nashville stop. UPDATE: Apparently the latter was never announced as support. Something must\u2019ve been planned in advance.<\/p>\n

He did not explain why. This is not BigXThaPlug \u201cin addition to\u201d Jelly Roll it is \u201cin place of.\u201d<\/p>\n

Post Malone isn\u2019t selling tickets.<\/p>\n

If we\u2019re being real here, the change is likely explained by a scheduling conflict or something that is not that deep. That doesn\u2019t make it any less interesting of a case study.<\/p>\n

You get the idea. Post Malone\u2019s BIG ASS Stadium Tour Part 2 is in trouble. And most of the stops after the ones listed above are in even worse shape. Thousands of tickets are still available.<\/p>\n

There are going to be a large amount of middle-aged women in Tennessee who are upset by the replacement. They want to see Jelly Roll. I\u2019ve already seen a few comments on Facebook.<\/p>\n
