THE CANADIAN PRESS\/Arlyn McAdorey<\/p>\n<p>By The Canadian Press<\/p>\n<p>\n\t\t\t\tMay 13, 2026 | 9:36 PM\n\t\t\t<\/p>\n<p>VAUGHAN \u2014 Police say two men were killed and three suspects are on the loose after a targeted shooting in a suburban neighbourhood north of Toronto.<\/p>\n<p>Const. Kevin Nebrija with York Regional Police says officers were called Wednesday afternoon to a home in Vaughan, where they found the men with multiple gunshot wounds sprawled in front of the home.<\/p>\n<p>They were later pronounced dead.<\/p>\n<p>Nebrija says three men fled in a blue SUV, and police were later called about a vehicle on fire north of where the shooting took place that he says matched the description of the suspect vehicle.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"York Regional Police say they are seeking public assistance to identify the suspects in an alleged kidnapping.
